I'm Matthew Auger, the founder of Augs Web. I started this business with one goal: helping small businesses get a professional website without the confusion or the big-agency price tag.
Small businesses keep communities running, but many miss out on customers because their website is outdated, hard to use, or doesn't exist at all. I build clean, fast websites that make it easy for customers to find you, trust you, and get in touch.
When you work with Augs Web, you work directly with me from the first conversation to launch day and beyond. No hand-offs, no jargon, just clear communication and a website you're proud to share.
You deal with me directly, every step of the way.
Clear packages and written quotes, with no surprise charges.
Sites designed to bring in customers, not just look nice.
Answers to the questions I hear most from small business owners. Don't see yours? Reach out at matthew.auger@augsweb.com or call 603-475-8625.
Most Starter sites are ready in about one week. Business sites usually take two to four weeks, depending on how many pages you need. The biggest factor is how quickly I get your photos, text and feedback, so having those ready keeps things moving.
Your business name, contact information, and a short description of what you do. If you have a logo, photos of your work, or websites you like the look of, send those too. Don't have everything? No problem. I can help you write your text and figure out what you need.
Your domain (your web address, like yourbusiness.com) and hosting are separate from the package price unless your quote says otherwise. A domain usually costs around $10 to $20 a year. I'll help you pick and set up both, so you don't have to figure it out alone.
Yes. Once your project is paid in full, your website and everything on it belong to you.
Before any work starts, you'll get a written quote with the total price and payment schedule. The prices on this site are starting points, and there are never surprise charges. If something would cost extra, I'll tell you before doing it.
Yes. I'll share your site as it comes together so you can give feedback, and reasonable changes are included. If you want to add new pages or features beyond your quote, I'll give you the price first.
Yes. Every site I build works on phones, tablets and computers, since most of your customers will probably find you on their phone.
Absolutely. If your current site looks dated or is hard to use, I can rebuild it with a fresh design while keeping the information that's working for you.
You can sign up for the Care plan at $20 a month, which covers fixes, small text or photo changes, keeping your site online and secure, and answering your questions. Bigger updates, like new pages, are quoted separately.
No, it's completely optional. If you do sign up, you can cancel anytime and it ends at the end of that month.
Yes. Take a look at my sample projects to see the kinds of sites I build for different businesses.
Example sites that show the kind of work I can build for your business. Each one has its own look, made to fit the business it's for.
A soft, colorful site for a local flower shop, with seasonal bouquets up front and a quick way to ask about orders.
A warm, appetizing site for a home cooking and catering business, showing off the menu and how to book an event.
A bold, clean site with before-and-after photos and a simple way for homeowners to request a free quote.

This policy explains what information Augs Web collects through this website, how it's used, and the choices you have. Augs Web is run by Matthew Auger.
When you fill out the contact form, I collect the details you enter: your name, email address, business name, the package you're interested in, and your message. If you email or call me directly, I'll have your email address or phone number and whatever you choose to share.
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The company that hosts the site may automatically keep basic technical logs, like your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.
I use your information only to reply to you, prepare quotes, build and support your website, and send you invoices or updates about your project. I won't add you to a mailing list or send marketing emails unless you ask me to.
I don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. It may pass through the services I use to run my business, such as my form service, email provider and website host, which handle it only to provide those services. I may also share information if required by law.
I keep your information for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the length of our work together plus a reasonable period afterward for records and taxes.
You can ask me to show you, correct, or delete the information I have about you at any time by emailing matthew.auger@augsweb.com. I'll respond within a reasonable time.
This site is meant for business owners and isn't directed to children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from children.
If I update this policy, I'll post the new version here and change the effective date at the top.

These terms apply to using this website and to website services provided by Augs Web, run by Matthew Auger. By using this site or hiring Augs Web, you agree to these terms.
Augs Web designs and builds websites and offers ongoing care through the Care plan. The exact work for each project, including pages, features, price and timeline, will be confirmed with you in writing before work begins.
Prices listed on this site are starting points. Your final price will be in your written quote. Payment terms, including any deposit, will be listed in that quote. Work may be paused if payments are overdue.
You're responsible for the text, photos, logos and other materials you provide, and for having the right to use them. Delays in getting content to me may delay your project's timeline.
Reasonable changes during the design process are included. Requests that add new pages or features beyond your quote may cost extra, and I'll always tell you the price before doing that work.
Once your project is paid in full, you own your finished website and its content. Augs Web may show your site as an example of past work unless you ask me not to.
The Care plan is billed monthly and covers fixing things that break, small text or photo changes, keeping your site online and secure, and answering your questions. Bigger changes, like new pages or features, are quoted separately. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month.
Website domains, hosting, email and other third-party services are separate from my design work unless your quote says otherwise. Those services are governed by their own providers' terms.
I work hard to deliver websites that work well, but I can't guarantee any specific results, such as search rankings, sales or traffic. To the extent allowed by law, Augs Web isn't liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and its total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project.
I may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the one that applies.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire.
